Summer Reading Program
Readers of all ages will explore all things sports and fitness this summer as Hampstead Public Library presents “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read” as the theme for our summer library program.
The kick-off day is JUNE 14 and the programs and events run until August 3.

Program Details for Kids in Grades K through 4
Welcome to Summer Reading 2016! This summer we will celebrate all things sports and fitness. Keep your body healthy through exercise, games, and healthy eating. Keep your mind healthy through reading books and trying new things.

Middle School Kids: Here's Your Info!
Print an extra copy of the events list and the calendar by clicking on the logo.
Record your reading time on the calendar. For every hour you read, fill out a raffle ticket for a chance to win a weekly prize. Winning ticket will be drawn on Fridays at 3:00pm.
Summer Reading Program Isn't Just for Kids!
Register for the Summer Reading Program (SRP) on or after June 14, be a part of the reading community, and have fun!
High School students are welcome to participate in the Adult Program.
Events this summer address topics related to
wellness, such as exercise, diet, and keeping healthy. The Library will have local presenters talking about biking, hiking, marathon running,
Everyone is welcome to library events whether or not you have signed-up for the Summer Reading Program. All events are free and open to the public. Click on the image for a copy of the events brochure.
There is no required amount or book topics for adults to read; however, the more you read (and
audiobooks count) the more chances you have to win prizes! Fill out a book review/rating sheet and get an additional chance to win! Reading Logs and Book Review sheets are available at the Library, or can be downloaded by clicking Reading Log and Book Review .
Extra bonus: adults who fill out a Reading Log with 5 books they read this summer, will receive a
certificate redeemable for a free book at our Library Book Sale. Plus, you’ll receive 5 extra chances to win! You can even fill out more than one Reading Log.
