Do you love your library?

The Hampstead Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for new alternate members.

What do the Library Trustees do?  They are the governing board of the Library. The Library Trustees appoint a librarian; prepare an annual budget; and expend funds from the budget, trust funds and contributions.  They also advocate for the library in the community.

Our Trustees meet on the third Tuesday evening of the month, and three times a year with the Selectmen for Budget discussions.

What makes a good Library Trustee?  A  love for the Library is most important, as is a desire to serve your Town.  A wide variety of skills are needed on the board.

For more information, please contact the Library or come to the next Trustees meeting on April 18th at 7PM at the Library.
