Join the fun and meet new friends each Monday from 1-4pm. Bridge players of all levels are welcome!
First Tuesday of each month at 3 PM from September to June
Maggie Grace, registered Yoga Teacher, teaches this FREE class which is tailored to adults of all ages and anyone interested in learning these various stretches and strengthening postures. Participants move at their own pace and can do exercises while sitting in a chair or standing. The class will end with breathing techniques to relax the body and calm the mind.
Maggie has practiced yoga since 1977 and is certified through the Pathways Yoga System and registered with the National Yoga Alliance. Her journey to maintain a healthy lifestyle shows in her practice. Her instruction is gentle and can be applied to all levels of fitness and ability.
Maggie is the owner & an instructor at the Yoga Room in Hampstead.
Chairs will be provided, just bring your healthy attitude!
Non-Fiction Book Group
First Tuesday of the month at 1PM
In addition to our Third Thursday book group, Hampstead also offers a discussion group for readers of non-fiction. This group will meet the first Tuesdayof the month at 1PM. They will not meet in July and August.

Second Thursday of each month from 12noon to 1pm.
New at the Library: The Alzheimer's Café. The first meeting is May 12 from 12 to 1pm.
This Cafe is a welcoming place where people living with dementia, along with their caregivers and family members, can come together for a casual social gathering each month. Spend time enjoying interesting conversation with new friends who are experiencing similar circumstances.
The Alzheimer's Café happens on the second Thursday of each month from 12noon to 1pm. Refreshments served. It is facilitated by Serenity Senior Care/Right at Home of Seacoast NH. For further information, contact Lisa or Elaine at 603/819-4599 or email@example.com.
Seniors' Get Together
Thursdays from 9 AM to Noon
Hampstead Seniors meet every Thursday from 9 AM to Noon at the Hampstead Public Library. It's a great place to exchange information, have refreshments, and find out what is available for the seniors of Hampstead.
The first Thursday of each month includes a blood pressure clinic run by the Hampstead Fire Department.
The second Thursday of each month, we celebrate birthdays!
The third Thursday we all play Nintendo Wii, and bowl for 'bucks'. Come try your luck and compete for gifts.
Third Thursday Book Group
The Hampstead Public Library hosts a book group every Third Thursday of the month at 1PM. This group reads both fiction and non-fiction titles.
Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library's front desk. Newcomers are always welcome.

Spinners & Knitters
This group meets the 1st Friday of the month from 7PM to 9PM. See our calendar for specific dates, especially in the summer months.
The group comprises mainly knitters and spinners (who create their own yarn on spinning wheels), but all needleworkers are welcome to join. This is a place to relax and share what you are working on. No instruction is provided, but you can always pick up a tip or two.
Entrance is on the right side of the building, the meeting is held upstairs in the large meeting room.
