Artist Reception held for George Chen
On May 12th, the library held a reception for George Chen. The oil paintings of George Chen will be on display at the Hampstead Public Library during the months of May and June 2012 in the library’s second floor meeting room. George Chen uses oil paints on canvas to express his interpretation of traditional Chinese images. He has an exceptional talent of imitating Chinese masterpieces and executing images he recalls from paintings he saw in his childhood.
