Programs
Programs are a special feature. We hold all types of story hours through the school year for children ages 3-5 and lap-sit storyhours for infants to 2 year olds with an adult. We also have storyhours out in our Story Garden, provided and maintained by the Hampstead Garden Club. School-aged children may sign up for babysitting classes, and special activities such as trivia games, bingo for books and book discussions.

School Vacation Activities include our Summer Reading Program supported by Friends of the Library and the Greater Hampstead Civic Club. Each year is a different theme designed to encourage reading through the summer.
Drop-In Storytimes during the school year are held on Mondays at 10 AM and on Thursdays at 1:30 PM for 3-5 year olds. On Tuesdays at 10 AM there is "Mother Goose on the Loose" Storytime for infants-2 years with caregiver, which is carried through the summer.
